Better access and increased overview

The purpose of Deildarvaki is to give staff an overview of patient data in Saga on a large screen. Accurate data is displayed in real time, thus improving access to information, increasing overview and making it possible to quickly see upcoming tasks or the condition of patients.

The information displayed in Deildarvaki can be adjusted to each ward.

Deildarvaki is useful for all health professionals who care for patients at the hospital. We adapted Deildarvaki to the activities of each ward. The implementation was very successful and everyone could see that this was a very good solution. In the emergency ward, Deildarvaki has changed the patient flow, prioritisation has become much more targeted and waiting times have shortened. Many work procedures for nurses and doctors have changed for the better. After Deildarvaki was implemented at inpatient wards, it is much easier to get an overview of the ward's activities, both in terms of patients and staff, because all changes in the patient flow are recorded in real time.
